Dan, Mike, and their dad's old van
Ray Kessler started the business in 1978 with one van and a phone in the kitchen. Dan and Mike grew up riding along on Saturdays. Today there are nine plumbers and six vans, and one of the brothers still checks every job before it's closed out.

Do you really answer at 3 in the morning?
Yes. Calls after hours go to our answering line, which can book an emergency visit and pages the on-call plumber. Most nights someone's at your door within two hours.
Can you give me a price over the phone?
For common jobs, we'll give you the range on this page. We won't promise an exact number until we've seen it, because the same clog can be a 20-minute or a 2-hour job.
Do you work on rental properties?
Yes. We work with landlords and property managers across Columbus and can bill the owner directly.
Do I need to be home?
Someone 18 or older needs to let us in and approve the price. After that, you can go about your day.
